Random Questions

I have a friend named Mike who always asks the most random questions to me every time I see him. These questions include: What is your favorite Captain Crunch flavor? If you were a third base coach and I was coming up to bat, what would your sign be to tell me to bunt? And other random things like that. So I decided I would start to ask him random things. although I am not very good at coming up with them I admit so I enlisted the help of my parents and these are the questions we came up with:

1) If you could have a third appendage what would it be?

2) If you were on a deserted island all by yourself what would you do for entertainment?

3) What would you rather eat: horse, dog, or monkey?

4) You are lost in the woods with only one match, as you are wondering around you find a cabin. You knock on the door and no one answers but you go in anyway. In the cabin you find an oil lamp (which is full), a gas stove, and a fireplace with all the wood you need in it already. Which would you light first?

5) A plane of Albanian tourists crashes on the border of Canada and the United States. Which country would you bury the survivors in?

6) A rooster is sitting on an east to west fence with a northwest wind blowing. When it lays an egg which way will it fall?

7) If you had x-ray vision would you use it???

8) If you could build a time machine what kind of car would you use?

Dance Party!!!!!!!!!!

I love to Dance!!!! It happens to be my number 1 past time. So last year when 2 of my roommates had the same birthday we planned a dance party for them:) It was really fun although it was not very popular but we all had fun!!!!!!!!!!

We had the party in the lounge of our apartment complex. We had a ton of fun decorating!

We got Brett to borrow some speakers from work so that we could use them:)

Family Photos 2009

We have not taken family photos in probably 10 years. So my Dad got the bright idea to do family photos last Christmas as a gift to my mother. So here they are:

Don't worry Josh didn't lose 5 inches in between pictures. He just had to bend down otherwise he couldn't fit in the picture:)

We practice this basically every family home evening, it happens to be a favorite of every one's. That and the dog pile (which happens to whom ever happens to be the grumpiest:)

Service

I am a member of the BYU color guard and love it!!! So after every game the guard stays and cleans up the trash around the stands where the band sits. Sometimes during the games the drummers break their sticks because they are drumming too hard. when this happens they usually just throw the sticks on the ground and we pick them up. This past game, I found the stick they had thrown on the ground. I picked it up and on the way down from the stands i asked some random kid if he would like to have it. His entire face lit up and he enthusiastically exclaimed "YES!" So I gave it to him and he ran to tell all of his friends. It was so funny. I was really happy I didn't throw the stick away.

Scripture Pick-up Lines

Last Valentines Day, in church we wrote valentines to other people using scripture stories. Well last sunday my roommate Sydney and I wrote love notes to a bunch of people in our complex using scripture pick-up lines. Here is a list of the ones that we came up with:

1) If I was Cain and you were Abel, I would kill you with LOVE!

2) If I was Noah and the flood was coming, I would put 2 of you on the ark!

3) if you were Nephi and building me a boat, I would not mock you.

4) If I was captain Moroni, You would be on my title of Liberty!

5) If I was Ammon and you were the king's Daughter I would totally say YES!!!!!!

6) If I was Abinadi I would let you chain me up any day!

7) If you were Jonah, I would love to spend 3 days in a whale with you:)

8) If you were Samsun and I was Delilah, I would not cut your hair because you would need all your strength to resist me!!!!

9) Like Teancum, you shoot a spear through my heart every time I see you.

10)Draw near unto me with your lips, and I will proceed to do a marvelous work (I can't take credit for this one. This was Brett's valentine to Meggie).

Happy Halloween

My family has a haunted house almost every Halloween. The first floor of our house goes in a complete circle. So the trick-or-treaters usually go in through the front door and go around the circle, then come back out the front door. This year, they added on the back yard too. So in the back yard, as they walked out the back door, my brother Ben would drop a dummy right in front of them on a noose. Then as they continued through the yard, my other brother Nick would chase them with a chain saw. When I called my family on Monday to see how their Halloween had gone, they were still doing the haunted house for people in our church who weren't able to make it on Sunday. So when I called they were waiting for one of their friends to come and walk through it. I was talking to my brother Ben and he was walking me through what they had done to the house this year. All of a sudden I hear the sound of a chain saw revving up and I hear Ben scream "Put the saw Down!" Then you can hear him running away and Nick chasing after him all the while he is still screaming at Nick to put the saw down. This went on for a good 2 minutes. It was so funny I was laughing i fell off my bed laughing.

The Start of a new day :)

This year I have tried to keep up on my journal writing. At the beginning of the school year in august I went through one of my old journals and read all the entries from my middle school years. They were so funny. I couldn't help but laugh at how obnoxious i was and how i thought that I knew everything. I think that the more I learn the more I see that I don't really know anything at all. Anyway the purpose of this blog is to write down all the funny things that happen to me on a daily basis. I am going to try to find something funny everyday and write about it on here. I don't think I will be able to write everyday because some days are busier than others but I am going to try to write as often as I can.
