I have been struggling for weeks now trying to decide on a song that basically explains my life.I have been trying really hard to come up with one and I think that I finally found one. Not really, actually I found about 50 but I have slimed this list down to 5. Here was the criteria:
1) Had to be an up beat song. Any one who knows me would understand this. Any one who doesn't know me.................... well you should!
2) Has to make people smile when they hear it. I like to make people happy, therefore my song has to make people want to listen to it not be all down and depressing!
3) Has to be a unique song. I am not a normal person.... Much to my mother's chagrin I am not a normal sweet little girl. I like to think have spunk and am my own person.
4) I have to like it... This is a pretty vague category I know but if the song is going to be about my life I better like it
So here are the 5 songs I found...............
1) 2012 by Jay Sean
2) Dynamite by Taio Cruz
3) Club Can't Handle Me
4) Tik Tok
5) Fire Burning
So if you have any opinions or songs you think of that are not on this list let me know!!!

Girls
Girls are like
apples on trees. The best
ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach for
the good ones because they are afraid
falling and getting hurt. Instead, they
just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples
at the top think something is wrong with
them, when in reality, they're amazing.
They just have to wait for the right
boy to come along, the one
who's brave enough
to climb
all the way
to the top
of the tree.

Hearing the Voice of the Lord
This past week end was general conference. As a kid I always remember general conference for one reason. We either got to come out to Utah or we got to go to my grand parents house. To be serious we only came out to Utah once for general conference but I still remember it. Every other time we spent basically the entire week end at my mom's parents house. We would always have tons of food and play games with her entire family. She is number 5 of 9 so there was always people around to play with.
This year I am away from my family. It is the first time in my life that I have not been with my immediate family for the April conference (my parents were out here last year for April conference). It has been a very different experience. I actually had to make the decision to watch conference and to prepare for it.
It was an amazing experience to analyze my self and try to strengthen my testimony. I even had the privilege of going to Salt Lake for the Saturday Morning Session. I can't even explain the feelings that fill the conference center as the prophet of God walks into the room. It is a spiritual uplifting just to see him sitting on the stand.
I have to admit this weekend has been so great. I have heard testimony of Jesus Christ and have strengthened my own testimony. I even took the opportunity to write down the impressions that came to me during each session. I filled page after page of notes and thoughts I was having. I am so glad that I am a member of the true church of Christ and have the opportunity to hear the Lord's will for me with the help of the Holy Ghost.
As this weekend has come to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to share my testimony.
I KNOW that my savior lives. I know that he loves us and has suffered infinite pain to have us come and live with our Heavenly Father once again. I know that Thomas S Monson is a prophet of God and speaks with the voice and power of God. I proudly sustain him and the rest of the apostles and area leaders. I know that the book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and God speaks to us through it. I know that I am a child of God and he loves me more than I or anyone can comprehend. Even when I mess up he is there to lift me back up and place me back on the straight and narrow path. I am eternally grateful for the atonement and the chance it gives me to live with God and my family forever.
After this weekend I have realized that I am not a very grateful person. This is my goal to be more thankful for the blessings I receive everyday. I am going to try to see the Lord's hand in my daily life. I am also going to try to serve more. I am going to pray to the Lord to lead me to people who I can help. That way I can be an instrument in the Lord's hands.
